well i had a messenger bag last year from aeropostale it wasnt one of my best backpacks ans it was to small so dont get a messenger bag.. and the totes, i had a tote one year i like it better than the messenger bags and the totes are wayyy cuter. and i got mine from aeropostale too.. but the links below she some very cute ones..

Really a tote or messenger bag is better because it only hurts one shoulder. A backpack hurts both shoulders. I went backpack shopping with my mom at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and they had cute designs. All the backpack brands are Jan Sport. They had plaid, polka dots, and solid colors. The designs are very vibrant and they really stand out.
But I didn’t get a backpack, I got a blue plaid tote from Hollister for $29.85!!!! It’s really huge and has plenty of room. I really like it because the fabric is so soft. Here is the photo
