How to be a happy anime geek without being kicked in my face in middle school?

pls don’t say shit like “there isn’t its just that stupid”
*faggy optimism*
I wear the naruto headband too… and then people annoy me about it…
should I wear a jacket or something? I’m a girl btw, and people do kick me and call me “grudge” cause I have hair that cover my eyes when I hunch my back all the time…”IT’S JUST THA MY HEAD IS TOO HEAVY!!! IM JUST SMARTER THEN YOU!!” *gets hit with milk carton*
And I’m friends with a scene kid that wear so much bright that she overpowers the other friends that hang around me, so when people walk by, they only see “the asian kid with the sketchbook, and the super scene chick” and people reckon I only have one friend…. shes the only one thas noticeable anyway lol :3
I have a messenger bag too….*sigh*
now I reckon they have excellent reason to kick me? all that is slowly being revealed to me as I type this…
So please help this otaku that is ALREADY despised by all, and I will send you a cake (that is NOT a lie) telepathically
anime has been in my family BTW
at a young age my dad made me watch sailor moon, cause he liked the skirts… and he made me watch inuyasha later, and my aunts are all like…. artistical *sparkles*
please don’t kill me

You could stop living in your fantasy world and grow up.
Well, it is unfortuante that you are probably going to have to deal with those types of kids that are going to pick on you because you are not worried of being unique and being yourself. I really do hope you realize that these people aren’t even worth the time you place into typing this question. These idiots, what you’re going thru, and middle school is only going to be a very small, insignificant time in your life. Unless you are going to change who you are (which I hope you don’t), there probably isn’t going to be much that’s going to change. Ignore it and be pleased with who you are….
I loved anime in middle school, and I never got teased. Try making friends with many people, then tell them about your like for anime. That’s what I did, and I guess it worked.
Why not get a make over. I’ve seen scene kids who look really hot. And some pretty weird kids that wear purple pink red orange all at once. They work it though. At my school I saw a girl who shaved half her head. (She wouldn’t stand criticism though, she’d get up in your face if you said something to her.)
Anyways get a nice haircut. straighten your hair. wear nice (manga-loving fan girl) clothes. If you’re being made fun of for being different and not another freakin’ clone at school. then that’s a fuckin’ shame. But the only way to let the bullying stop is really LOOK appealing. look at all the fashion designers. they get their thoughts from total outcasts, everyone else likes their designs on the runway ’cause they make it appealing. so why not? I like your way of thinking, it’s a shame you get bullied.
I know this is probably not the answer you’re looking for but the only way to stop them thinking that about you, is to change yourself, and i in no way am i suggesting you do that.
One day those people will grow up and realise they’re ****’s, and if not they’ll be pumping your gas and driving you around in a taxi anyway.
Just make sure you’re comfotable with yourself (maybe you hunch your back because of low self confidence?…) and just be yourself, and that is when you will be pleased. Other peoples acceptance will never make you pleased.
Maybe learn some self defence in the meantime?
Excellent luck
OMG I’M GONNA SPAZ ABOUT ANIME!!!!1!1! AND IM GONNA PRETEND THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO LIKE ANIME WITHOUT BEING A FREAK!!!
Does that answer your question? What’s more, you don’t simply LIKE anime, you’re obsessed.
Don’t feel terrible! I am one too… But I don’t wear a headbands…
Um.. I have been an anime geek since 6th grade. And you should tell the Principal so he can do something about it. And none of the middle school kids at my school kick anyone.. (I’m in 6th grade) I go to Briarhill Middle School in TX… They have bullying heavy grounded.. (that make since?
) By the way, try not to wear those kinds of things to school. I despise to be teased. So instead of waring headbands, wear things that won’t make you get teased. Thats what I do!
