What back pack is better for a girl in high school. one shoulder messenger bag or a regular back pack??

for Jr.High there is a honest amount of text books and heavy binders/notebooks and stuff. and i have to walk home (uphill) which back pack would be simpler to carry and do less to my shoulders?

Yes you’re right, I would recommend a backpack if you have heavy books, I used to carry round a one shouldered bag and my arm and shoulder ached like hell some days. A backpack will spread the weight evenly, and they’re both used widely in schools so I wouldn’t worry about ‘not looking cool’ not that I’m saying you are, just a thought!

A backpack would be better. I have a messenger bag myself and I also walk home and despite how much I like messenger bags it hurts my shoulder often and sometimes it’s rather awkward trying to squeeze all my books in there so in the end I carry half in my arms and even then my shoulders still hurt. If I were you I’d go with a normal one wearing both straps so the pressure is distributed equally among your shoulders.
