Whats a girl who doesnt like purses to do?

girls messenger bags Whats a girl who doesnt like purses to do?
Im a teenage girl. I like fashion and dressing really nice, but I despise using purses. They just get in the way for me. I feel so akward carrying them too. I dress normally, usually jeans and a t shirt, or a skirt or shorts or what not. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can carry all my vital things (make up, money, cellphone, etc) WITHOUT using purses, back packs, totes, messenger bags, etc. ? And is it masculin to not use purses?

i’m with you, purses are aggravating. But, the only way around them that I’ve really found, is to wear guys pants, because then the pockets are huge enough to really place all your stuff in.

and by wearing guys pants you will look kind of sloppy…

it’s a lose-lose. sorry.

How about you don’t bring your makeup with you, place your cell phone in your pocket, and buy one of those adorable tiny coach wallets. They’re really in right now and they’re small so they don’t get in the way.

I didn’t like purses for the longest. I kept my lipstick, wallet, and gum in my pocket of a coat/jacket/jeans. I eventually had to cave and get a purse. It’s not so much a matter of being masculine or not, it’s a matter of practicality. Unless you want to look like a dork and wear a fanny pack.

well , i am fourteen and i like fashion too but i like purses . so i will try to help you .

well if you want to carry your cell phone i always place it in my pocket if i have them or just carry them because it is simpler to get to .

and as for money maybe you could get a small wallet or if you can drive get one of those vera bradley key chain things that is a wallet that you hook to your keys and that can always carry your money .

and for the make up i just place it on right before i leave that way i don’t have to carry it around with me .

i am sorry that i was not that much of a help , but i tried ! lol !

Yeah, I reckon we’re in the same boat. I find purses a small awkward and bags to be too cumbersome. But, I recently found a cool and casual looking satchel bag from Roots and it fits me to a tee (just the right size too).

Just keep your eyes open for a bag that you feel comfortable with (reckon it’s impossible to carry a lot of things without some kind of bag).

And not carrying a purse is no where near “masculine”.

I reckon you have to carry one because all that stuff in your pockets looks reallllllly terrible. I mean if you didnt have to carry make up you could get a cellphone holder to attach to your jeans, place money in your pocket and go from there I guess.

well you ahve to uses some kind of bag if your sporty go to end line or something and get a nike bag gives you the active yet togther look . :]

Its not masculine to not use a purse. I’m not fond of purses either but I’ve found it to be a necessary evil.
The only way to work around it is to carry things in your pockets or stash them in your car. Or get a man to carry your purse for you.
Make sure to carry change for the necessary women’s toiletries and get a wallet (with skirts, stash money and ID in your shoe or bra), and stash the essentials in your pocket or your boyfriends pockets, clip the cell phone to your skirt/jeans.
I’ve found the simplest thing is just to get a small purse or a boyfriend that doesn’t mind carrying your things really.

Omg, I really know how you feel, I despise purses too! I feel SO AWKARD using them too! They’re so annoying, & then I like loose them. You could try clutches. They’re like mini purses that can hold money, a cell, and some other small things. But they don’t stand out and they are very fashionable. I don’t shop at Coach, but they have some cute ones! You can find them mostly anywhere. Here’s an example: http://www.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=11114&category_id=1552. If I were you, I’d try something like this and see how you like it. I wouldn’t go ahead and get a 200 dollar tiny purse, but ya know!

It’s not masculine to not carry a purse, either. Don’t worry about it, people aren’t going to question if your a girl or not if you aren’t dragging a load of junk around :)

Pretend like you do.

I’ll tell you something.
I do NOT delight in purses one bit!
Here’s what works for me:
I carry around my cell phone, money & my mascara.
Not that much.So here’s what I do!I place my folded money into a pocket.I place my mascara in my locker…and at locker breaks I refresh it.As for my cell phone…it simply goes in my back pocket.
No pockets?
Try a clutch.Here’s an example of one:http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7341736.html

Hope this helps!
