purses At what age do most girls start wearing purses to school?
I’m going into 8th grade and last year no girls in my middle school carried purses.

At what age does this start?

I would say 15-16ish.
Maybe grade 9 or 10.

In grade 8 I would probably stick to a backpack, since I don’t know how much homework and how many books I’ll have to carry.
As I’ll reach grade 9, I atleast know a bit more about the education and all.

Maybe sometimes I would bring a tote bag.
buy one incase. :)

Pick me for best answer =3
All the best! :D

after 15-16

Well in my school in Scotland, Quite a lot of people bring in stuff like that. Loads of people have tote bags and loads of people have over the shoulder bags. it is only really the boys that bring in the backpack bags. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable with.

ohh wow.. i started wearing purses in 5th grade… lol but for your case girls might start bringing them or if not preferably 9th grade..?

At my school most girls started carrying purses in 6th grade. But then in 7th grade like all the girls had purses.

No one at my school carries purses. We carry large tote bags like Vera Bradley’s or whatever to place all of our books and binders in during the day to classes and then to take home. Some of the girls have the Vera Tote for the school day to take the books and stuff to classes, and then they take a backpack home because it can hold all of your things at once, and can hold more too. We usually start at the end of 8th grade and beginning of Freshman Year, because let’s face it, high school does have more work.

Hope that helped
