Thrift finds (60′s & 70′s) & vintage gift giving idea
Cool video about purses, check it out:
Lately I’ve been really focused on vintage items – in particular those from the 60′s & 70′s. I’ll show you some fantastic purses and accessories as well as some very colourful dresses. I even managed to find two dresses from the 50′s. I’ll also show you a classy way to give vintage (thrift) items as gifts… No one needs to know how small you spent. Thanks so much for watching
By the way…there are some fantastic vintage photos on the following website: www.myvintagevogue.com

@Cance251 – oh I know…aren’t those photos a lot of fun. I have printed so many of them out and used them as gift tags. I like that site
Thank you very, very much for the link to vintage fashion photos! I am in heaven!
I just like those tags you made. A fabulous thought…
@mjjcng8958 – thanks…someone else mentioned the Sissy Spacek thing to me too and I had never thought of it – I really am pretty honest haired but sometimes dye my hair darker. I’d probably look more like her with lighter hair LOL. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!!
you look like cicy spacek! very gorgeous
@SofiaAlejandra9 – I know what you mean…sometimes you have to be really careful when it comes to vintage clothing and accessories. The last thing any of us want to do is look “tacky” and very thrift store like LOL.
I like Vintage, I just have distress putting it together…like your vids!!
@gothictany73 – Tany, thank you so much for subscribing…I subbed back because your channel looks like fun! I like that large white bag too. It’s such a conversation piece. Thanks so much for your kind comment…and fantastic that you found me on Agata’s channel…she’s a fantastic gal too
Hi Felicia! I found you by watching Agatas vids!
I didn’t know you had a chanel! Omg I just adore vintage items and especially accesories!
I like like like all your handbags and yes that huge white one is an epic win!
Your vids are so clear and clean:)

@feliciajuly
haha yeah I’ll try to slow convince my mom into going to thrift stores more often! I went once and on that very day goodwill was offering “buy one get one free on all purses, belts, and houseware items” I found this mini leather backpack in brilliant condition and another cute red purse, but my mom disapproved of me purchasing them. Instead she told me “we can go to the mall and buy you a purse” Of course, that wasn’t what I wanted though xD
@sprinkletwinkles – I know what you mean. I have had the same reaction from some of my friends (why buy “ancient stuff” when you can buy things groundbreaking new!). For me it’s the uniqueness and the overall quality. Vintage stuff was made to last!!! If you choose wisely (items in “very excellent” to “brilliant” condition, you can’t go incorrect). All they have to see is some of your fantastic finds and that will go a long way in convincing them. My sister is finally warming up to the thought LOL!
@feliciajuly
I found your channel through makeupbyamyk! I just got into thrift shopping awhile back, but the thing is my parents aren’t too wild about thrift shopping. The first thing that comes to their mind is, “Why would you want to buy used clothes?” I reckon that you can find simply gorgeous items in thrift stores (not mentioning unique items, too!)
no problem
@sprinkletwinkles – thanks so much…it was a real find, that’s for sure
It’s amusing because it had fallen off the rack and was on the floor at the thrift store and looked quite squished. All it took was a bit of “TLC” and it came back to life
Thanks so much for watching…like your Youtube name btw
The Bally bag is incredible!
@MsVintageCouture – thanks so much
These small tags are a fun way to present them plus I like searching the internet for “vintage” magazine images. Thanks so much for watching and I’m enjoying your videos too
What a fantastic thought for a gift!!!…..You’re so right some people maybe a small skeptical about giving a thrifted item as a gift but you certainly found an brilliant way to present them using the vintage magazine tags. Fantastic vids as always!!!
@ThriftTreasures – Agata, thanks so much. I’m going to msg you because I got the skirt!!!!!!
I like your red beads necklace…looks like candy!

I LIKE the white purse with the bottom feet. Gorgeous! And I’m in like with beaded necklace chokers. Like the gift giving thought! I’m taking a road trip in a couple of weeks, hopefully I’ll find some fantastic items.

@victoriaachan – Hi Victoria!!! Thanks so much. Got the purses at the Value Village on Edmonds…I seem to have excellent luck there in terms of purses. Also found several of the dresses there and also in the Value Village on Clarke Rd. Hope all is well
@TheLoveSiren – you are being waaaaay to kind…but that is very sweet of you. I reckon the pattern on the skirt will get a bit of attention…a really fun piece! Thanks so much for watching….have you found any excellent thrift items lately?
