Will I get in trouble for selling these purses at a garage sale?
I have some fake designer purses I don’t use and I just wanna sell them for cheap, maybe 5 bucks. Will that be a legal problem?

Make sure if people question that you aren’t trying to sell them as the real thing. But $5 bucks at a yardsale… hopefully people are smart enough to know that you would charge more for the real thing. You never know tho, I found an authentic DKNY purse at Goodwill for $2.50 a month ago….
As long as you don’t sell them as real designer bags I don’t reckon you can get into distress.I’ve done the same thing at my last garage sale.
It is illegal to buy, sell or manufacture fake bags as it is considered copyright infringement.
That said, I can’t imagine that you are going to get busted selling them at a yard sale, but it would be considered illegal and in any circumstance it could be problematic.
no, its only illegal if you try to sell them as the product it is posing to be. As long as you have it advertised as the product that it is, and not what it imitates to be, then you should be fine.
